Editing Gurus help?

Im trying to create the ASB Challenge Series and I cant figure out the best way to do it so any help would be much appreciated.
Firstly The ASB Cahllenge series is a new "Friendly" series in New Zealand, where a Wellington Phoenix Reserve team play 1 match against each of The ASB Premiership Teams, at the Premiership teams Home ground.
They are classified friendly because the prem teams are amateur teams while the Phoenix is a professional side, so the Challenge series has been created to get around FIFA rules regarding Pro teams playing in amateur comps.

So The series comprises of only 8 games. Each game offers $2000 for the winner, or $1000 each for a draw, so no penalties.
Phoenix Reserves play in all games - so it cant be created as a league due to 1 team playing more games than the rest.
Im thinking the only way to create this Series is by:
Making 8 Cups each called ASB Challege Series
With 2 specific teams playing at a specific ground (ASB prem teams home ground) as seeding wouldnt guaruntee one team to be classified home).
Winner receives 2k (cant find a way of splitting for a draw - not sure if it will split auto, or auto revert to away goals???)
Obviously with individual "Cups" set up for each fixture Stats wouldnt accumulate for all teams in one place (annoying but I can I live with it)

Can any editing Gurus out there think of any way I can create this without setting up 8 seperate comps, or basically any better way to set this up, I only opened up the editor for the first time about a week ago so everything is new to me.

I'd love to help you mate, but it's out of my league really. Never had the time to deal with the editor yet, maybe macdab55 will be able to help tomorrow when he wakes up; he'd been messing with the editor lately.

No worries mate, I will prob just set up the 8 seperate cups as Im itching to get a game underway managing the Phoenix but have been putting it off till I got the ASB prem and the challenge series going to an acceptable (to myself) degree.

As a side note, not sure how to explain so ill use an example.
Managing the phoenix starts June 1 - however there are players in the team that were actually signed in July. Can you set a player to a contract status like the previous management had offered a contract but I still need to accept it?

When i come back from school then I am figure somthing out mate.
