Unhappy Squad

Hi folks,

I have played Football Manager for a number of years but never got into a game as much as I have currently. Started unemployed...took the Swindon job in League One....two seasons later I took the Millwall job in the Championship. A season and a half later the team I support (Newcastle) were struggling in the Championship when the job came up. Applied and got the job. Happy days. Fast forward to the year 2027 and I have assembled a very youthful and exciting team although I have recently caused untold chaos.

Having qualified for the EURO cup I was required to pick a squad. I decided to leave out a recent Wonderkid signing from Uruguay and nearly every member of the squad is now in support of the young player. This has coincided with a massive drop in form. Nearly each player has ‘Spt’ to be in support of him and unhappy with my handling of the situation.

Any thoughts on how to remedy the situation? By adding him to the squad when I can register other players will this smooth out the situation? How do I pacify my angry squad?

Easy and quick fix is to start that player. When you gave a contract as "Star Player" means that X player waiting to start at XI nearly all matches (90%).

Appreciate the reply. Will start him and see if I can get the squad back on side. Hopefully pick up a bit of form. Cheers
