Fm 2021 gamepass PC

Sorry if this has been talked about already.

New to FM here.
There were 2 options on PC with gamepass. Fm xbox edition and FM edition with no xbox written on it, even though it's through xbox.

I tried to mod using various mods and techniques. Tried modding through windows apps, then app data etc.with no avail.
Tried Mod through documents section and made a graphics folder etc.witn no avail.

Can this be done using gamepass pc or do I need to buy through steam?

Finally figured it out and works perfect with fm.2021 gamepass pc non xbox version.
