Hi All,
I am very new to FM and have started a save with Port Vale FC.
I have chosen and downloaded a tactic from one of the FMScout crew and it suits my teams players and abilities.
I hired a decent assistant coach whom I let handle training and touchline instructions. One thing that confuses me thought is the selection and tactical advice before each match. There’s not a week that goes by that my assistant coach does not suggest line-up shuffles and changes. He also constantly recommends tactical tweaks. He suggests things like a change from positive to balanced or cautious. He may suggest focusing play down the right or left depending on what he sees in the opponent.
I have the option to hit the “do it” button but I worry I am deviating away from the tactic I downloaded before I even get a few games into the season. What do you guys do?
Do you stick solid with the same 11 unless injury or fatigued? Do you listen to your assistant and change and tweak tactics or stick solid to you tactic no matter what?
Thanks. Jim.
