Hi ! I like to play old versions, specially FM12. For some reason, my savegame can't load if I save after the 2nd of January 2014.
I can load the save, but then if I make another save right away or after a few days, the game crashes during the loading process, with or without a serious error msg. Incidentally, its size passes from 430 mo to 600 mo.
I see 2 possible reasons for the crash :
1/ A windows security update was installed after the last working save was created, that can't be uninstalled (the 23rd of april)
2/ I've read that savegames can get corrupted.
Solution for 1 : reinstall windows 10 out of the box, without any security updates.
Solution for 2 : find someone on this forum kind enough to check my savegame through Steam, because I can't do it myself for some reason. Like explained here : https://support.sega.co.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/360015264518-How-to-Verify-the-integrity-of-FM-s-files
As you can guess, it's depressing to lose a save game, with all the time you invest in it !
