Pre game editor help

Guys, I've created a team with the pre game editor. I've put all players and player/non player with myself as player manager. Can I start a game as that player? I can only seem to start a game with a normal profile and can't see an option to add a player manager

I doubt you can actually take over the role in the actual game and keep the edits that you made, though never say never. Prolly easier to leave the manager space open to input in the actual save.
