Coaching Staff for Training

I started a new Save as Manchester United and was wondering why this team has so many coaches that are training the First Team. Typically I play Milan and they have a max of 10 Coaches that are allowed while Manchester uses many of the Reserve, U23 and U18 coaching staff for First Team training. How is this setup within FM2021?

It's about reducing coaching workload. The bigger (and better) the coaching staff - the better. For example, Possession Tactical Coach train: Anticipation, Decisions, Vision, Teamwork attributes. I always have one at least for each category. For example:

x1 General Coach (Defending, Attacking, Possession) which has similar preferred and playing style with mine. Then split to:

x1 General Attacking
x1 Attacking Tactical
x1 Attacking Technical

x1 General Defending
x1 Defending Tactical
x1 Defending Technical

x1 General Possession
x1 Poss Tactical
x1 Poss Technical

x1 GK General
x1 GK Shot Stopping
x1 GK Handling

x1 General Fitness
x1 Fitness Strenght
x1 Fitness Quickness

I don't assign (or allow) any UXX coach to train my 1st Team.

Thanks for the reply. I agree that only First Team Coaching Staff should train the First Team BUT for Manchester United I am NOT understanding why I have 10 First Team coaches includes GK, Fitness and Manager and Asst but the Training Screen allows me to see approx 20 including Sports Scientists and U23/U18 staff.

The Coaching Team shows 19 people.

Of course for the actual assignment of coaches to each category you simply ignore the U23/U18 etc...

My Milan save has only the First Team coaches available for Catagories, why the difference and where does this get assigned?

Check the ‘secondary role’ on these coaches, they might be set to coach the senior squad.
