I've been recently promoted into the Premier League with Havant & Waterloovile. Understandably I had to rent a Premier League worthy stadium for a few years until my new home ground that the board proposed was finished. The board went out and got a bargain for St Mary's in Southampton for 1.1 mil euro per year. At some point in the season, I got this flash news, that So'ton made 338million in profit this year, which got me curious. How did all that profit found it's way into Southampton's coffers? I added a new manager to get access to their finances screen and found out that their "other income" has skyrocketed from 600.000 per annum last year to 436.000.000 this year. A huge increase in "Other" income which I cannot explain. Does anyone know why is that or if it has anything to do with my stadium rental? Note that my gross income is less than their "Other " Income.
