I want to start a save with my favorite club Schalke 04 from November 9th. I would like to write a story about it, but my English is not the best. I've been out of school for a while, so it's been a while since my last English lesson. Right now I'm using Google Translate. Does it make sense to write a story in German? I don't think there are many readers who can read German texts, but I could write the story and look back later.
What is your opinion about this?

It adds an extra layer to your stories I'd guess. Though for broader appeal having the English translations would be wise to have.
Maybe take it as a opportunity to brush up on your German using things like Duolingo? learning a language is a good thing to have on a CV in a lot of cases.

I would love it if you write a Story about Schalke. My english is also bad, because of this i missed out a lot chances to write a Story. Maybe i try it once again.

i think i will try it in german and add a translation via google translate.
Perhaps not every word is translated correctly, but at least readers will understand most of what I am saying.
Just go for it. If you can make a good presentation and a text easy to read, it'll be good to dust off my German skills
