I have just taken charge of Hyde Fc, who are on a run of 5 losses in a row. Every player in the squad has Very Poor morale, and no matter what team talk I give the Player Motivation says 'Playing Without Confidence' for everyone. What should I do?
just keep encouraging them with motivational team talks, and once the team starts winning then their morale will go up, also if you have a private chat with your captain it may give you the option to ask him to get a team meeting together which can also help morale so long as the meeting goes well
This works for me.
Starting (H): For the supporters
Starting (A): Wish them luck.
Half time and final whistle
6.9 and below = have faith
7.0 to 7.4 = pleased
>7.5 = delighted
If they are playing crap = expect a much better performance
If they are outplayed by a better team = have faith
You need to do this for a number of games.
Obviously, tactics and winning also helps to lift the gloom
Also clicking on Backroom and praising deserving players also helps

If your financial situation allows, try bringing in some new faces. Try reserve squad/kids, they should be dying to prove their worth to you, thus they should be motivated to play.
