playmaker, finances, reserve squad and more

I am a newbie to FM2011, and while the game is quite self-explanatory, I still have a few questions.

1) (major question) why is my club constantly at financial loss? I have a rather strong team and as such, I never made any changes: didn't sign any new players, didn't increase salaries, etc.. I am still at only 50% of what board allows me to spend on transfers and wages, but any time I look at finances, the club is at negative balance. Is it my responsibility? If so, what should I do to improve? The team is constantly winning, the confidence is good, so if the stadium is not filling up, not sure why.. Should I be concerned and what should I do?

2) my team has the reserve squads B and C. am I responsible for those, too? I never see any matches they play, as they play in much lower divisions. am I responsible for singing or selling players in reserve squads? they are not worth much money though..

3) my assistant always tells me to "go strong but fair" on somebody. while I found all setting about opposition team, this one I cannot find. what should I change, where is the setting?

4) my assistant always tells me there is a gap between midfield and attack. I think I should assign a playmaker, but how do I go about doing it? where is a setting to make somebody a playmaker? cannot find it.

5) and my last question: one player has a sign, smth like "Frt" (even with glasses on, I cannot really tell, but I think it's Frt). what does it mean?

I think I am can only answer you 2 questions
1)Do you team have a debt? Becuase in my game my team haven't got loses like in every single month untill my board decided to get loan from bank.

2) You are not responisble for B and C squad because you probably have tick that you assisstent have taken control over them.

Question 3: must be found in the opposition instructions(pre match), i think its that you must tackle hard on a player(wich i'm not a fan of with all the yellow cards (even after patch) in this fm) and if the player has a good technique he will dodge the tackles.

Question 4:
I dunno íf you close the gap between your attack and midfielder could fix with a playmaker, but you could defenitly try.
To assign a playermaker go to tactics, team instructions, advanced, then at the bottom of the screen you see playmaker, targetman (and another one i cant come up it the moment), there you can tic playmaker.
Also in this advanced menu you can also assign the space betwoon the lines, maby you could tigten up between the lines.
Annnnd, what is your tactic? when the midfielder cant reach the attackers you can play with a player, or try a good fast winger?

Question 5:
Dunno if i can answer this one, cus i play in dutch and these short reference im not familiar with.
So is he happy, condition? uhm is registered for the next match? does he have a future transfer?

yes, there is a HUGE loan that my board took before I was "hired". Too big, in my opinion. So, I guess the losses is not my fault???

Found the playmaker option now. Hmm, I will try both: playmaker and line tightening, thanks for advice.

and I figured what Frt means: he is leaving on a free transfer soon. Oh well..
