World Cup 2018 - Russia. Reactions?

Russia is hosting World Cup 2018. What do you think of it?

Cristiano Ronaldo is going to cry.. again!!

It's great for Russia. The quality of Russian football has been growing a lot over the last few years and with them hosting the world cup its only gonna grow faster. We could see the league standard grow as high as England and Spain!

I was kinda pleased that Russia have won it because its their first World Cup.

How they beat england with our bid and report i dont know, there is something corrupt in fifa in my opinion, nothing to do with football at all, money being back handed all over the place, and qatar? thats a joke, they have no 'stadia' whatsoever, yes its 12 years but still, football is nothing in the middle east, and playing in 45 degree heat, disgraceful. Rant over, but still rather angry.

Well, bit of a dodgy selection in my opinion. There had to be a lot of money involved. Anyway..
World & Euro Cups have a very special atmosphere that every single football fan should experience at least once a lifetime (well once you go, you wanna go again next time :)), but I don't think I'll be traveling to Russia.
So far I've been to Euro 2000 (NL&BE), World 2006 (Germany) and Euro 2008 (CH&AT) always following Czech Republic
Unforgetable memories...

The 2022 World Cup went to a team with one of the best leagues in the world and one of the richest footballing histories in football. I am, of course talking about Qatar.

What a shame for USA! I would prefer that USA would be host of WC2022.

Ah well, that's why we call them the MaFIFA eh? all they care about is the money, not the football. I also think it is kind of unfair that, 'real' European countries aren't allowed to organise a world cup if it has been in Russia.. I mean, how many Western Europeans are actually going to drive 4000 kilometers of bad Eastern European roads to Russia?
