Well Folks, i've a mind to start writing up a story.

But, i dont know where or with who to start it.

so Im asking you guys.

How should i start?

where should i start?

Do i take a lower league team to the top?

do i take a top league team to the bottom? (Hint: Probably wouldn't make the best story)

do i start employed?

do i start unemployed?

etc..

So just throw some ideas out here and then in a day or two (probably as soon as i turn the computer on and find someone has replied to this thread.. ah how my social life suffers) ill get started. Also, while we're at it, i enjoy putting myself and a few mates in youth setups around europe with fmsx. So if you want to follow this story and you want to follow your 'self' as we got, just give me a few details e.g. nationality, name (doesn't have to be your real name), position and some of your key stats, ill cook you up a player :)

While we're on the topic of things, is there anyway i can get e-mail notifications that someone has replied to a thread i've started/posted in?

-Over and out!
Why not try Spanish league.
Try start as sunday league footballer as unemployed and just wait and see if any team would want you and try to take them to the glory.
i shall think on it!
i have an urge to manage a french team though, i've never managed in france.
What do people think?
well, leave me your ideas everyone. I shall check them tomorrow. Sleep time.
In FM2010 I really enjoyed playing French league but in FM2011 didn't try it yet.
I never tried French league and I want to try it some day. I'm playing as Monaco on PES 2011 and it's not bad at all. But if I'd do it on FM, I'd probably pick a team from their lower league.

Decent French football players are quite many, more than their English counterparts, so it should be slightly easier to shape a great team keeping your domestic bias high.
I want to ask if PES 2011 is any good?

And as Stam said there are quite a lot decent Franch players.
Here's an idea that I really enjoyed (still enjoying), try playing with a local team if you don't live in a big city. or if your city has more teams pick one from the lower leagues if possibly, a team who's players you might even know in real life. I just had a player who's reason for accepting the contract from another team was: "looking to move in a more metropolitan area" :)) that really amused me :D it's really fun and I must say, lower leagues rock, free players are the best! Good luck with your story

P.S. I also like to create myself in some games
Tomy thats great idea.
For me its is bit of a struggle because town in which I am currently live in has team which playes in 10th English league and withouth using editor I can't play them.

Pes 11 is ok but I think fifa is better personally this year

Franch? what nationality is that?
Sorry I meant French.

Yeah I play as Staines Town (local) and I have made myself, I have kept 4 clean sheets in goal out of 16 this season (poor effort, I do better in real life).
yeah idlove to see people making me then writing a fm story with me being in it
