I have returned to FM after several years. The game will only give me at best a single star on set up and that is with a single league and small database. I was hoping to at least be able to run 3 leagues.

Is the CPU on my 2016 Dell laptop the problem? I expected to get low resolution visuals due to the integrated graphics. I don’t want to look at a replacement laptop if the issue is something else.

CPU = Intel Core i5-7200U 2.5 GHz
RAM = 8 MB
Graphics = Intel HD Graphics 620
Storage = 915 GB

Thanks
IDK how the game rating hardware (which I don't trust FM to rate hardware), but you can easily run 1-3 leagues. On what speed (how fast or how slow, depends on your taste). With Very Low Graphics Settings as well.

I have i8-8550U 2.0 GHz, 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA MX150, 256 GB SSD and playing with 19 nations and leagues with very low settings (graphics) and large database size. Speed is not the greatest, but I am playing one save per FM - until reach retirement plan (being 65 y.o in the game); so I don't give so much attention to speed.
your CPU only has 2 cores, that might be an issue here
FM22 really upped those requirements a bit in comparison to FM21, and if you look at two years gap and compare it to FM20 it's even more.

even the simplest modern PC/laptop
would do much better than your current one
Thanks for the replies
