Aston Villa F.C. - Looking for direction

Aljo Malbašić keeps the streak of Aston Villa's Golden Boys alive being the 5th consecutive Villain who won the award!

Since quite a few people have been following the series, I think its fair to share that at the moment I've totally lost my motivation to continue playing with Aston Villa. I feel I'm getting FM'd too often and after (nearly) 7 seasons it just feels like I've given this save all I can.

I've also played FM quite a bit and probably need a little break from the game altogether. I'll probably continue the series in the future but don't expect an update in immediate future.

THis inspired me to start with Villa.

I did a couple of similar things - brought in Schjelderup and Thuram, otherwise we have had somewhat different journeys. My arrows have been pointing upwards and upwards. I have played three seasons:

1. season: 4. in PL.
2. season: 1. in PL, round of 16. CL.
3. season, 1. in PL, 1. in Cl.

I have the youngest team in the PL, and are 12. on the wage list.

Going for the PL-hatrick next season. No big players coming in in the summer, new RB & CB next priority. But I have enough cash to buy big if the right player comes my way.
