Another bit of good news from the two R's. I'm big on bringing through our own youth players so this should help us in that regard.

I'm really happy with the start of the season, despite going out of the cup. We are showing that we belong at this level and long may it continue.

We bounced back nicely from the draw with Barnsley by beating Stevenage away from home. A solid performance.

Not the most straightforward game on paper with Bristol sitting in 3rd so I'm more than happy with a draw on this occasion.

The scoreline doesn't really reflect just how dominant we were in this game, to be honest. Morecambe never really had a chance, despite taking the lead.

Always good to beat Tranmere and this time we battered them. Lovely.

We just about managed to scrape the win at Fleetwood. The lads really earned that win.

Gateshead or Wrexham to travel to Huddersfield in the FA Cup 2nd round.

I kept the same team as the Gateshead, and we again came unstuck. We were already through though so I'm not too bothered.

Wrexham to travel to Lincoln in the Northern 2nd round of the EFL Trophy.

I brought the first team back, and a professional performance put us in round two. Job done.

Tried going 3 up front for this game but the idiot of a referee decided to make the match all about him. I've no idea who he is but I hope he never officiates us again. Luckily, we were ale to get the win regardless of the two sendings off.

Still really good so far even if performances have taken a slight downturn as of late. Still massively exceeding expectations.

Wrexham to play Man Utd U21's in the EFL Trophy Northern 3rd Round.

The tale of two halves. First half we played 433 and were awful, to be honest. At half-time, we switched to our usual 442 and dominated.

Wrexham to travel to Wigan in the FA Cup 3rd Round.

We didn't deserve to lose this one but that's football sometimes.

A scrappy game but we did enough to win in the end. Great to see Ollie Palmer grabbing a goal too.

What an absolutely superb month. The only downside was losing Zak Vyner but other than that I can't complain. We are playing some beautiful football at the moment, although ideally I would like a few more clean sheets if possible.

Rob and Ryan agree to expand the stadium to 18,000 seats and to improvements to the youth and training facilities.

Results




A fantastic first season in the top flight not only sees us stay in the division but finish in the top half. An absolutely superb achievement with the squad we have at the moment. Hopefully we can repeat this next season and look to push for the top 6 of the league.



GET IN! A superb run in the FA Cup sees us win the competition for the very first time. This means that we will also have European football at The Racecourse next season for the first time ever. Absolutely incredible.



The less said about the Carabao Cup the better. Out on penalties in the 2nd round.

WHAT A SEASON! WE ARE CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND! We went into the final day knowing a point was enough for the title so how fitting it was that club record goalscorer and captain Paul Mullin drew us level. What a servant to the club he has been. He may not start many games these days but he's definitely staying at the club. I still can't believe we managed to win the title in just our second season in the league. Absolutely incredible.



A poor performance away at Everton saw us fail to retain the FA Cup. To go out in the 4th round is massively disappointing.



We may not have won the FA Cup but we did win the EFL cup for the first time with a 2-1 win over Arsenal.



Our first ever foray into European football and this happened. I can't put into words just how much of an achievement this is from the lads. To win three trophies in one season is just incredible.



A loss in the Community Shield unfortunately.
