How can I stop the WCF from changing from its current 32-team format?
The 48-team format is bad/ridiculous and I would much rather have the current one. I know there are databases that stop UEFA competitions from switching formats, so I was wondering if it's possible to do the same thing with the World Cup. I remember I asked this question before, but I forgot if I did so here or somewhere else.
What's a good solution?
Can I mark the current WC 'extinct' and recreate the competition on the editor? Then just link the qualification tournaments to the "new" World Cup and tweak the rules a little bit to keep the same number of qualified teams?
Or is it less straightforward than that?
