Update Issue on FM 2023

When in Steam, I have just run an update for the FM23 Game and Pre-Game Editor. The update runs and when it ends (100%) it pauses and will not resume to finish. This is in Steam and on a Mac. I am now a bit stuck.

I have looked below at solutions already posted but could not find what I was looking for.

I am having the same issue.

I read this on Reddit which resolved the issue for someone else, but I am still unclear as to how to do the below action they say.

"Steam needs permission to edit files and folders. Happened to me and a notification came up in top right"

Ok, I gave full disk access to Steam and this worked.

Go to system settings > privacy & security > full disk access > add steam to the list
