Last stage of the season!

So, just a little heads up about what is being the last stage of the season!

These are our results until “today”! I think we are doing really well! But again, Champions wise, we are being horrible. Yeah, we won 4-1 against Chelsea at home, but so not deserved. We had exactly the same amount of chances, we scored, they didn’t. Away, first 70 minutes we didn’t even had a shot!! How is that possible! How can a team be that bad.. So sad guys, you have no idea. I think I’m starting to understand why, but I’ll get there later!
8 games left and only 1 goal left to reach the same amount of goals we had last season! So good and proud!

This guy.. So good. Doesn't even make sense. Also, assisting so much.. I'm speachless to be honest! Don't know if I will keep him next season as a player or as a coach! If as a coach, I have few options to sub him. 100% we need a player like him (tall with an amazing head game!)

If we take them down.. I think we might have a chance to make into the final! But, step by step and also trying to understand the best tactics for these kind of games!

So, tactical wise, like I said, in UCL we are not being good at all.. We used to play in our 4-2-4, 100% narrow and I think that is being the main problem. We play so narrow, with literally no wide players that against the best teams we can’t attack, so easy to defend us. They close the middle, they press us real hard and we don’t have the spaces and also can’t find the free spaces to attack! What I’m thinking is this:
Why? Because our FBs will give us the width we need and then we are going to be able to play inside, simply moving the opposition to one side to the other and then, creating some space in! The 3 CBs will give us the comfort to expose our FBs! Also, we did put again the IF on Attack duty so they will make a lot of deep runs and create some space so that our CMs have more space and time to build up!
Ps, I didn't try the tactic yet! This is just theory! If you have an ideia, let me know! And also, sorry about my English!

End of The Season!

The end of the season has arrived and time to let you know what we accomplished (or not)!


I think we did well again! Portuguese League we were unbelievable! Never had a team with that amount of goals in a second season! Usually with some regens you start to get some unexpected results, but in a second season, I think it’s my all-time record! Really proud of what we did, kinda sad about that defeat, but in that game (Famalicão – Away) we started the game losing 2-0 and didn’t have the intensity to turn around the score. The draw was Porto – Away (0-0), the most boring game I had with this team, got me really sad! We play for the show! The rest, guys, unbelievable! Cups wise, like you know, couldn’t care less, but it’s always an occasion for the fans to celebrate! We used the youth players and also the players in worst shape, so this was a double win! Champions, Bayern Munich again! Group Stage didn’t like at all our performance on the pitch (the results were good / ok) and against Bayern, I will talk about it later! Overall, very very good season from us!

What a League!! Already spoke about the draw and defeat we had, so just talk about the amount of goals we scored! 4.23G is unreal, and also, we conceded less 9 goals than last season. 3.29XG to score and 0.88 to concede, nice stats. Think we are not capable to do it again, but we will try!

So, already spoke about the games against Chelsea so, long story short about the round against Bayern!
Basically, If you have Ronaldo, you have everything.. So unbelievable.. No words to describe what he had done for us. We were losing 4-1, so 4-3 was kind of a good result. During the game, our pressure was ridiculous. If you try to high press the opponent with 5 at the back and 3 men up front, your pressure won’t be effective enough (they were building with 4 + 2 and we were pressing with 5, impossible, always one player down) and also we left a huge space between lines. Easy for them to play. So, we fixed and you drop our pressure line to medium and the defensive line to medium as well and it got better. Offensive wise, we took the “always try to dribble” option (we needed to pass more and dribble less, to make sure we could escape the pressure zone) and we got better as well. Like I said, 4-3 was a good result. At home, we started with the same strategy, we were better in the first half, but only one chance created which is quite low (they had 0, but still, for them, 0-0 was a good result). Second half, we put our normal tactic in (4-2-4) to step up our intensity and also to create more chances and we did! But also, we conceded a huge space behind our defensive line, and with faster players like Mane, Sane, etc, hard to control. But we had no other chance. We did the 1-0, 10 minutes later they did the 1-1 and we weren’t able to get the win. They deserved to go through, nothing to say, but I think we took a nice step for the next season. We are learning.

I think the stats say it all. 65 goals and 20 assists in 45(7) games, is unreal. 39 years old! I think I never had a player like this. Those chances where you think “Yeah, he’s gonna miss”, he never missed! Left foot, right foot, with the head, from every single angle. Couldn’t believe. You need to have an offensive team because at this stage of his career, we will not make deep runs, but when you deliver him the ball, he will score. Such a difference. Also, Henrique Araújo did really well again. Martinelli, Matheus Cunha and Ceballos did completely what we expected, so, very happy about these signings! Martinelli was injured 3.5 months, so 17G and 11A is quite good. Next season he will smash, I believe! Schjelderup season was something special too, he will be recognized for it, next season.

We were losing 1-2 at the 81st minute and then.. So special.. And against our biggest rivals at home, our fans completely blew out!

So, as I said in the previous post, João Fonseca, João Veloso, Diego Moreira and Schjelderup will be active part of our squad. Which means that we can sell some players and not buy anyone saving some money and also cut some wages.

Leipzig bid for Morato: 17M + 4.2M (12m x3) + Alan Velasco. Not a chance of negotiation. They only wanted to offer Velasco.
Hertha bid: 44M + 19M (12m x3). Not a bad proposal but we said no as we would have to spend a lot of money to replace him.
Real Madrid: 29M + 28M (12m x3). Not a chance. 60M at least now, or nothing. We said no.

Dortmund for Schjelderup: 18M + 6.5M (12m x3) and 20%. Not a chance. He is part of the project and we have huge expectations for him.

Moukoko: 50M + 22M (12 x3). They said yes as well. We needed a banger, and he at Complete Foward, I think will do amazing! Damn it, he asked for a lot and I ruined the negotiations. Will try again later!

Mosquera: 17.5M. Clube and player already said yes. Few days to complete this signing! CB! He renew. Unbelievable.

Wisdom Amey: 13M + 5M (12m x3). Player already said yes. Lets see if I don’t ruin this one. Here We Go!

So we have 2 options for the last squad spot: Fabio Vieira 16.5M and 250k/m or Moukoko 50M+20M and 500k/m. We Fabio is much chepear but Moukoko in 1/2 years will put us in another level. Really tough choice here!

Squad Plans, Market and Schedule!

So, now I have some time to write, let’s see if I can make it with no mistakes!


This is our squad, and I’m really excited about it! I think we built such a nice group of young and talented players and also, with very good chemistry! As you can see, we didn’t buy neither Moukoko or Fábio Vieira. Why? Moukoko asked after 20 League games, 1M per month, which for us, that’s unacceptable. We can’t and we don’t want to afford that. Fábio Vieira is very good, but I wasn’t feeling it. We were looking for a player who could also play at ST and a faster one, and he isn’t that kind of player. So we went for Mohamed-Ali Cho from Sociedad. He has some crazy physical stats so, we want him to improve the technical ones. We will make specific work with him so I think long-short term (1.5 seasons) he will be almost on point. And also, we bought Ibrahima Bamba (CB) from Guimarães. He isn’t tall (184cm) but he is so fast and had a lot of demand from very good clubs. Also young. So I think at the end we built such a nice and deep squad and I’m really proud!

This was our market! Don't forget that Enzo Fernandez (80M) and Guille Rosas (45M) are from this season as well, but are counting on last season's transfers (because they went in June). Also we spent some money in young (regens) players!

As you can see, team started really well! Also, we already won Sporting (3-1) and Celtic (5-1) games! We paired up Martinelli and Henrique Araujo up top and both of them are killing it! Henrique Araújo in 7 games has 10G and Martinelli when we were with only 5 games, had 5 goals and 3 assists! The team has more dynamic without the ball compared to last season, but we are missing way more goals (basically we are creating more chances but less effective in front of the goal), Henrique could have more, easily, 4/5 goals.

So.. Not easy at all! 3 games we must win, 100%: Celtic, Nice and Brugge. Also Inter at home, I think. So, 12 points we need to make. Leipzig and Leverkusen are tough opponents, specially away, but I think we need to make, at least, 2 points there. Liverpool (H) and Real Madrid (A), we want to be competitive! But the board only asked us to reach the main stage, which we did it, so not much pressure on us. To be honest, I think we will take kind of a “Champions League Year Off”. How? Taking some risks. Every game, except Real Madrid (A), we will play with our 4-2-4 Attacking mentality (even Liverpool, Leipzig and Leverkusen) to see what the tactic and the team can make. Real Madrid (A) we will play with our 5-2-3. So, we are going to risk out and see what we can achieve!

Young Players Plans
For the young players, João Fonseca, João Veloso, Diego Moreira, Schjelderup and Mohamed-Ali Cho, we are going to put them on the line-up every single easy League game at home, which is around 13 games. Also on the Cups, which we can add easily more 7 games. With few team injuries, I think they will start around 23 games on the line-up, which is really good. We want to improve them real hard and for that, if we need to score less goals on the League (because the performance won’t be the same) we will!

Mid Season (Best 3rd player in the world!!) - Season results and rest of the season plans!

So, these has been our season so far. League wise, we are doing our normal path with a lot of goals scored and some conceded. The draw and the defeat were results that made me really disappointed and to be honest, made me thinking if we built the perfect squad. But then, yes, I realized that we did (despite one player) and we told in the beginning of the season (to the board) that some unexcepted results may show up, by the fact our squad has become much more younger than last season. The defeat was against Gil Vicente (1-0, A) where Henrique Araújo missed 3 clear chances when the game was 0-0, and against Boavista (1-1, H) we were smashing them, they went there once at the end, and they scored. Deserved, of course! If we miss, that’s our fault, so nothing to complain.
Champions League, we are doing what we excepted. Lost against Real Madrid (2-1, A) was a fair result (we used like planned the 5-2-3 and we were worse than them), we lost against Leipzig (2-0, A) using the 4-2-4 with attacking mentality and we were way worse than them (this one hurt me, so bad we were) but like we said at the beginning of the season, this Champions is about to find the perfect tactic. The games against Nice, Celtic and Inter (H) we won with the same tactic that we faced Leipzig, so at home against these kinds of teams I think we are doing ok, and the tactic works. But the fact that, with the 4-2-4 against Leipzig we conceded so much space (too offensive) and with the 5-2-3 we were too much defensive, made me realize that we need to find a balance between those tactics. So we faced Liverpool with a 4-3-3 and I think we did well at home! Next games will be against Leverkusen (A), we will try again the 4-3-3, and against Brugge (A) with our 4-2-4. Hope we can do 4 points in these matches and qualify to the play-offs!

Martinelli.. I love this player! Since the day we signed him, I knew that we would be so good. But I didn’t know that we would be this good! 17G and 17A in 22(3) games is something special. Is playing in our 4-2-4 as a complete striker, and he is being phenomenal! Also, 3rd player in the world! Wow! Henrique Araújo.. Mix feelings about him. Like, so nice stats, but missing so many goals. I was about to make a compilation of the many goals he has missed, is really unbelievable! Worst season from him by far, but yes, still 22G (most mix feelings ever). Cho and Schjelderup are doing really well and happy for the fact Schjelderup won the golden boy award! Really happy with our boys!

I put these games for you, to have an overall idea about what I said of Henrique Araújo and also about the amount of goals the team is missing! First game with 4 clear chances and 7 half chances we only scored 1 goal! Against Liverpool we were slightly better, but only 1 shot against the goal.. So poor. And the draw against Boavista, where we missed again, plenty of chances. Like I said, this is just for you to get a little idea of why my mix feelings about Henrique Araujo and some thoughts on the team! Also, Lucca has been a flop. We tried but yeah, thinking that he will not be the player we needed! Expecting that some Lewa or Benzema leave their clubs so we can sign a player like them, to find our “new Ronaldo”.

Rest of the season plans: So, League is a little bit more competitive than previous seasons, so we need to take care! Champions League, I think we will make into the Play-Offs, and then we will go with 200% on it. I love knock-out stages and we need to start to having good results at home (really good ones) to have a good comfy pillow on the away games! Market plans: Players we will not sell no matter what, Schjelderup, Veloso, Martinelli, Diego Moreira, Gravenberch, Amey and António Silva. The right proposal for the other players we will say yes, so maybe we can have a busy market!

Mid Season - Heads Up!

So, I didn’t do much progress since yesterday, but just to give you a quick heads-up about what have been happening and also a quick video from 2 games that we did. I decided to do this video to show you a little bit of our playstyle, the amount of goals that we’ve been missed but also how entertaining its being to watch this team playing! I just showed in the video our goals and chances.

So, first of all, we made it straight away into the round of 16! Top 8 on the big Champions League! Such a good achievement. We needed to win against Brugge (A) and waiting for Barcelona (Nice, A) and Milan (Salzburg, H) to don’t win their matches and they didn’t! We won 5-2 against Brugge (A) and also 3-0 against Leverkusen (A) the week before. The 4-3-3 is cooking quite well so I think this UCL we might have the chance to do something nice. Let’s see! Always, game by game.

Also, League wise, we got ourselves a good distance to Porto. We won at their home, 1-0 (finally we won there), and despite the draw against Sporting (A) the team is playing a really good football and scoring some goals.

Here are our best players, until today! You can see Martinelli is still doing amazing, and Lorenzo Lucca is not the flop I thought he was. Sometimes we need to give the players a little bit of time to adapt to the new club, to connect with the teammates and also with the tactic! At the moment, in a though game I would choose him over Henrique Araújo, to be honest. João Veloso and Diego Moreira are improving a lot and I think next season will be their season! So glad for them.

End of the Season - Results and Market Plans!

So, the end of the 3rd season has arrived and I think it was the most enjoyable season!
I think we did pretty well! We won every national title again, and I felt these last 2 months we were way better than our biggest rivals (Sporting and Porto). The last 3 matches against them, we won:
2-0 Sporting away (2.44XG and 19 shots vs 0.94XG and 9 shots)
2-1 Sporting neutral (3.16XG and 26 shots vs 1.48XG and 8 shots, 1 pen)
3-1 Porto neutral (4.11XG and 29 shots, 1 pen vs 1.60XG and 6 shots, 1 pen)
And being this superior made us extremely happy and proud! That’s what we want to see from the club, this is what makes the fans happy and that’s what we’ve been working on! Champions League I will get there later, but as you see, really nice from us!

Such another good league from us! Being able to score 124G, again, is amazing. The draws were against Sporting (A), Maritimo (A) and Boavista (H) and the lost was against Gil Vicente (A). Despite being the season with less points, I think it was the League that I enjoyed the most, the way the team was playing. Such good and deep football, but also with short passes and such a good high press! We could also, easily have scored way more goals, it was so funny and entertained. We put on a real show every game!

Barcelona at home, was an epic game!
Benfica 5 (Lucca 41' , Martinelli 50' 68' 73' and Schjelderup 81' )
- Barcelona 2 (Fati 17' 20' ): This game was something special! We lost away 1-0, not a bad result and we were confident at home. But at the 20th minute they were already wining 0-2 and the stadium atmosphere completely vanished. We did some simple changes, and everything changed! We put Lucca as a Poacher (he was moving to much to the wings) and he started to play as a reference to some long passes, we pushed up our defensive line and we marked their wingers with our full backs! The team gain some energy and after that, the game was ours! Lucca score 1 goal and made 2 assists, and Martinelli was again the MOTM with a hattrick and 1 assist! What a night in our stadium!
Against Milan, nothing to say. The 2-0 at home was kind of a comfy pillow, but be able to win (3-2) away was so good for us! What a boost. The 4-3-3 that we made, to the UCL Away games, is doing super well and I think we can only get better.
Tough game for us. We lost away 2-1 (we were winning 1-0 but in the second half we got smashed) so at home we needed be cautious of course but with the attacking mentality, and we did such an incredible match. Against these kinds of teams, you can’t miss what we missed, but the fact that every 5 minutes we had a goal chance made me and the whole stadium excited and extremely proud. What a game! We could have won easily 5-2. They had Mbappe, Neymar, De Jong, Depay, Walker, etc and none of them showed up! At the end we lost, sure, but I think we took a huge step this Champions League!
So nice to have António Silva in the Team of the season of the Champions League. For sure he will be one of our captains in the near future.
Overall, I think we did really well. First season we reached Round of 16, second season quarter finals and this season, semi-finals! Baby steps are being taken and really looking forward to the next season!

Martinelli. What a season! 40G and 27A is brutal. He played always as a striker in the 4-2-4 with the complete striker role and when we used the 4-3-3 he played as a striker as well, with the same role. In love with him! Will be our captain next season. Henrique Araújo did a very good season, but we felt he could have scored easily 10 more goals! Easily! Schjelderup with another amazing season and Lorenzo not the flop we thought he would be! So good to have a different striker in the squad! The rest of the squad did an amazing season and so happy about the squad we built! But now, some players have to go and time for others to show out!

Market Plans
Players we want to sell:
Vlachodimos: / GK / 31y / 22M: - 26M / 15M (expected sale) / Why: He is doing well, but with need some new fresh mentality in the team. But it's a sale we won't force. For less than 15M he will stay.
Morato: / CB / 23y / 43M - 55M / 50M (expected sale) / Why: He is not improving so he probably reached out his full potential. We will not force a sale but I think we will receive some proposals and we will not be hard with the negotiations.
Bah: / RB / 27y / 38M - 46M / 28M (expected sale) / Why: Same thing as Vlachodimos. But he will be a sale we will force! Tottenham and Chelsea want him so I hope we don't need to offer him.
Perrone: / CDM / 22y / 19.5M - 27M / 18M (expected sale) / Why: Same thing as Morato but this one is probably my fault. Never bet on him 100% (31 games on the line-up, still) so he didn't improve as expected. We will not force his sale but we expect some proposals. He might stay!
Ceballos: / CM / 28y / 23M - 28M / 10M (expected sale) / Why: We want to bet on João Veloso (will be his season) and having Ceballos as a sub doesn't make sense to us. He doesn’t have any pretender, so we will probably offer him! But really enjoy having him. What a player. We will force his sale!
Matheus Cunha: / RW / 26y / 40M - 48M / 40M (expected sale) / Why: We want to bet on Diego Moreira and we want to have Giovani as a sub! No spot for Matheus Cunha on the squad but so proud to have him as our player. He did really really well and I will be sad to let him go. But the future of the club is a huge deal for us, and that's the most important thing! Paris SG wants him so I think we might don't have to offer him!
Total expected sales: 161M.

Future and Important Players for next season:
We also sent João Veloso to a leadership course because we want him to be our captain in further seasons!
Also approached João Felix's agent, and he wants to come! Let's see what deal can we get!

Market, squad, results and next fixtures!

The market is done and let’s share the news!

This is our squad! I think its pretty balanced and of course, full of young players. As you can see, Perrone and Vlachodimos stayed in the squad. We didn’t receive the offers we wanted so no chance for them to leave. But we are planning also the next season and that’s why Orellana and Zouari are part of the squad and also we bough a 17y LB to push up Gutierrez for 1st option and that LB (with 18y next season) will be the sub. So next season probably, Grimaldo will leave, also.

Amazing sales we did! Matheus Cunha and Morato were bangers and also we received way more than expected for Ceballos and a good amount for Bah. Henrique Pereira was also a very good deal like João Neves and Tiago Freitas. All of them from the academy (we put them on loan, last season).
Players that we bought and why:
Carmona: We sold Bah and we will use Amey as a CB this season. We needed a very good first option to RB and we went for him. He is young, full of potencial so I think at the end was a really good swap (we sold Bah to the same club, Sevilla).
Causse: I mean. We took a huge risk on this deal. The scout recommendations are really good and as I said, we need with urgency to prevent the future for our LB position. He will train with the A team but will play on B and U23 teams.
Endrick: Deal opportunity. We found him, quite cheap, 5 stars, so why not? Also, 18y, he will have 2 seasons as a back up ST but playing all the time with the B team and also in some home and cup games. He will succeed Henrique Araújo!
Kumbedi: We needed a back up plan to RB and a younger one. 20y! He will play in our home games, cup games and also B and U23 team.
Daian Puig: We have been scouting him for a long time, but finally this season he wanted to join us! We made the deal, he will train with us, play some home and cup games but will play a lot in our B and U23 teams. 18y, in 2 years we want him ready to perform!
Orellana: Young and full of potential GK, will play some cup games and also on our B and U23 teams. In 2 seasons as well, we want him to be our line-up GK!

Amazing results! Team is really confident! Also, we used almost all of our players. For example, Diego Moreira is our main player to the RW position, but we also used Giovani and in 2(1) games he scored 3 goals and made 3 assists! Daian Puig has 1 goal and 1 assist! So nice to see them already performing.

Really looking foward to this UCL! I think we might have a chance to make at least 18 points and with some luk 19 or 21 points! Would be huge.

End of the season - Results, best players and market plan!

First of all, sorry for don’t post any update about the save. These past days have been busy, I kept on with the save but hard to write. End of the season has arrived and let’s go for it!

These were our results! We won every title in Portugal, again, we matched Benfica’s record of league titles in a row (four) and now, off to match Porto’s record (five). Reaching UCL semi-finals meant a lot to us again, second time in a row being Europe top4 is huge!

Our league was brilliant! 33W and 1D is amazing, but what got me mind blew was the amount of goals we scored, 150G! We broke our own record of 144 that we reached with Cristiano Ronaldo, two seasons ago. The draw was against Portimonense away, 1-1, the only game we only scored one goal! Also, we used our younger players at our home games and they didn't accuse the pressure. Simply brilliant and so happy about our performance.

Champions path! Main League we did really well. 5W and 3D was a good performance, the draw against Milan was so unfair, and we reached Top8 which gave us a huge advantage. Knock-out stages, against Atletico Madrid, away we used our 4-2-4 with balance mentality and it was a tight game but at home we smashed them out, 5-0! Bayern, we used 4-2-4 in both games. At home with positive mentality, we were tied 2-2 but then we made the 4-2 in the last 5 minutes of the game and that was crucial. Away we went with balance mentality, we suffer as a team, but we made it into the semis! Against Liverpool, not a chance. We used the same strategies from the previous rounds, but they were so much better. I think we should have used the 4-3-3 in the away game. In the next seasons we will use it away against the best teams. Overall, one another good UCL but we want the final in the further seasons!

These were our best players! The amount of goals our top-6 players did.. Of course, Martinelli and Henrique stood out, but Diego Moreira, Endrick, Schjelderup and Cho were brilliant as well. Also, João Veloso did by far the best season any CM has ever done with us. But, Giovani got me disappointed. He didn’t improve his attributes and also his stats.. Completely away from the top 6 and playing in the same positions. Can’t happen. We have to think about his future. Rest of the players did really well! Really excited for Daian Puig’s next season!

Market plan and young players profile


GK and Defenders: Vlachodimos is getting older, and I think this will be one of our last chances to make money with him. Orellana improved a lot, I think he’s ready, but only 1.84m. Some doubts here. CBs, Volpes is the new Maldini, he will be the best CB in the world for sure so we will be part of the squad! Which means, one of the CBs must go. Probably Bamba or Amey. The first to receive a good bid will go! We want to keep António Silva, but he might go if we don’t receive any good offer for Bamba or Amey! João Fonseca has a spot in the next squad, for sure. FBs, Goyoneche despite being a CB will play at RB (our FBs are not offensive, so, not a problem) but in this position we don’t need to sell, Amey was doing RB as well so Carmona can stay and Goyoneche will be our back up option. LB. We want to sell Grimaldo for the same reasons of Vlachodimos. Gutierrez will stay but we need to find a good back up option. Probably we have to scout a LB!

CM and Wingers: João Veloso will stay. He is one of the best CMs in the world, not a chance for him to leave. He will have Daian Puig as a sub! I think he has a lot of potential. For “CDM”, I want to give Manorakis a chance, but I can’t rely on him and Gaebel as my first options. So Gravenberch will stay one more year and Gaebel will be loaned out. Perrone will leave permanently! Winger, Scheljederup will probably go and Giovani as well. Schjelderup is on the max of his potential and the stars are decreasing. Giovani didn’t improve as we expected so he will go. Diego Moreira and Cho will stay (we want to renew with Diego), and probably Ly and Areso will be back up plans. Also we have Martinelli and Endrick to play there if we need.

Strikers: I think Araujo will leave. He is a beast, but 4 seasons is a lot, and we need some fresh players. To replace we will go “all in” in João Félix. He will cost 151M but we don’t care. Is our prodigy, a player that is so different, plenty of flair, we need him. Martinelli as his pair and Endrick and Luciani as back-up plans.

Summary: Busy Market! We wanted to make some deep changes in the squad, but I think we overstepped what we planned. First of all, we tried Felix, we negotiated the terms with him, but he renewed with Atlético for +1.3M than what we offered. Next, we went on Moukoko but same issue, renewed with Dortmund. Searched a lot of potential candidates to ST spot but didn’t find anyone near close of what we wanted, and we let it for Martinelli, Endrick, Cho and two regens (I will show you the squad in a moment). Sales wise, we thought about didn’t sell Henrique Araújo because Felix and Moukoko had renewed but at the end we need some players to step up and this will be the season for it. So we sold him for a huge amount! Bamba and Amey, we only thought about selling one of them, but we received good offers for both and Volpes will take a step up in the squad. We also received good offers for António Silva and João Fonseca, but we said no! Not even negotiated. Grimaldo we sold as expected for a very good amount and Gutierrez asked us to leave, we refused some offers, but the squad was getting upset about the promise I made to him, so we had to let him go. Portilla is an amazing wonderkid, out of this world his stats at 19y, very disappointed to not showing you (at the moment)! Perrone expected to leave as well, but we made such a good deal! Giovani and Schjelderup same feedback that I used with Henrique Araújo! Vlachodimos, time to go, not a bad offer so, pretty happy about it! Ndour and Driessen, very good amounts to players that we would never use!
Players in, we didn’t remember we signed with Kayky, during January, for free so one regen had to go on loan. Layle Ly was that player! Cavelan, Portilla and Lucas Andrade are squad players (second eleven) the rest of the regens we loaned them out! We are expecting great things on the future!

The 1st eleven remained almost the same so the results have been good. The 2nd eleven is so young! But they are playing really well, curiosly not in the firsts halfs but usually after the half time they play really well! We had one "poor" result but wasn't even their fault!

Sometimes, if a player from the 2nd eleven is in great shape, we lined-up him on the first eleven, in the next game! Like Luciani, for example, in the next game he won't be on the bench. Also, the younger players (18y and 19y) we make them available for U19, U23 and B teams. We want them to have the most minutes they can have! For example, if the first eleven plays on a saturday and the B team or U23 plays on a sunday, the 2nd eleven will make that (B team) game! But if the game on saturday is an easy one, I put them (2nd eleven) on the League game, and some players from the first eleven (Fonseca, Veloso, Moreira, Cho, etc) available for B or U23 teams! We want all of our players to be always in great shape and for that they need to play games! We are feeling since last season that, this is the way to have all the players ready to play the next game! And also, the stats are improving way faster! They all play 2 games per week and sometimes even 3 (tuesday, friday and sunday)!

So, guys, unfortunately this storie will end.. I’m not motivated to continue this save as it’s being too easy in the League and also in the Champions League (main League). Just won 6-0 against Inter at home. The interest part of the season starts mid of March and takes too long to get there.. Just want to go on Holidays and that’s for sure, not the way to go. Already have a new storie / save in my mind! Gonna do some researches, but 100% will be around Finland or some sort of it! Appreciated all the views and hope you enjoyed as much as I did!!
