I am managing a 'respectable' Premier League side and have been allowed 13 scouts.
I have given my Chief Scout the free reign if you will.
Why do they only scout the UK?
I have 9 scouts doing nothing.
Take charge of scouting and assign them to go where you like.
The chief scout is basically as useful as a normal scout, your best taking control yourself, watch some fmscout vids on scouting to get a feel of setting up your scout searches, always keep 1 scout to scout your opposition
AI would normally mean Artificial Intelligence, except in FM where it means Artificial Idiots. Manage it yourself - it’s the only way you’re guaranteed any effectiveness. Scout the big nations but make sure you’re covering entire regions, and not just individual nations. Players from the top nations will cost significantly more than players from lesser nations, even if they’re the same quality, so it’s important not to neglect the lesser nations.
