I'm managing Hayes&Yeading in the Blue Square South.

I can't sign players whose contracts end in under 6 months...

Is their a rule I'm not aware of? I'm not english so their might be a rule I never heard of.

Signing players on a regular (paying) transfer is no problem.
If they play in an English League, it is only 3 months.

If they don't play in England, have you tried downloading the new patch mate? It fixes some bugs.
Yeah MLR is right in English League you can sign only 3 months.
learn something new every time i come here.

Thanks mate !
With players outside England no problems.

Is this rule from the Premier league all the way down to the lowest leagues?
Think so. I think its same in other countries aswell, like if your R. Madrid you cant sign another player based in Spain until 3 months before contract ends. Bit of a shame really seeing as though all the foreign clubs snap up the players you seem to want before you can offer a contract.
