Inter Turku!

We are back with a new storie! I will try to not over post some photos as FM Shots still didn't answer me!

So, our first adventure was Inter Turku FC! They were founded in 1990 by Stefan Håkans as a youth team and in 1992 they merged with a professional team and started in the 3rd Division! In 2008 they won their only League Title, since that, some second and third places! The Stadium, Veritas Stadion, has a capacity of 9.732 (but we only sold 350 season tickets..)! Club Legend: Samuli Lindelof!
Why Inter Turku? Don't know, but always thought the name is really cool and also familiar!
Also, we already did the first season. Why? Because I needed to know if I was enjoying the save before starting a new storie!


We started the save with no reputation and no licenses!



These are the tactics! We use the 4-2-4 against teams that usually play with only one striker and the 5-2-3 against teams with two strikers.

We had 0 transfer budget and only 2k per month on salaries. So not too much to do, transfer wise but we tried our best!

Busy market as we love! In this league you can transfer in, loan and free players out of the transfer season, which allowed us to build the team while playing some games. Helped us a lot not to wait until certain date to get all the players (the season calendar is so different, we started the season in April)! César Sousa, we found him as a free agent and he's doing a really nice season. Corness came from Liverpool but already went back, not good at all. Kopp kind of a flop. Ryan Teague came from Famalicão and helped the squad depth! We needed a lot another solution at CM spot. Leandro Cardoso came out as a huge signing! 15(1) games, 14 goals and 5 assists! Huge for us, he arrived in the middle of the league, so he helped us a lot! And Quaresma the magician! We never thought we would accept our offer which he did! 38y, 17 games, 6 goals and 10 assists! Amazing consistency and crucial in certain moments!

And out of nowhere.. We became Champions!!!


Stunning performance from the lads! Our main goal was top3, but we did top1 with a huge advantage!! Never thought it would be possible to win like this in the first season, but the players were amazing! Leandro Cardoso and Quaresma helped us out so much. Without them I dare we would do something even close to this. So so happy. Still more 4 games to play but the championship is in our pocket!

Really proud of our path! Against Dun. Streda and Dinamo Minsk we were slightly favorites so we did our job, but against Gil Vicente they were the real favorites. And we did such good games. Away we could win 2-1 easily, specially in the second half we missed so many chances and at home it was a tigh game, but they scored 2 goals from long distance and at the end they went trought. But really proud! Didn't expect such good performances! Also, we were able to make 800k which was really important. Finances, we only had 15% straight to the budget and 4k in salaries, which is nothing. So that peformances, allowed us to increase to 30%!

Future Plans
To be honest, will depend on next season budget! We want to take a huge step up on our squad, so we will need some big changes. We will scout a lot of youth players from big clubs to try some loans. Also, Champions League, we know we won't be able to make it, but we want to have the feeling that we are getting closer. If we feel that we will be in the same step we were this season, we will have to find a new club! We have Bulgaria, Hungary, Iceland, Belarus, Romania and other Leagues available so it will always be funny! Really looking foward to this project! Also, at the moment we are taking our second license! Very important as well!
