FMScout.com problem: Images not displaying

A very strange thing happens when I use this website, which started only a few weeks back.

Whenever I open any pages in Chrome, the images disappear. For example, http://www.fmscout.com/i-978-Free-Players-in-FM-2011.html has an image on the top which says "Free Agents in FM 2011, Over 2500 players." I can see it in Internet Explorer, but I can't see it in Chrome, which is my default browser.

I've tried clearing my cookies, my cache and all private data (except saved passwords), to no avail. I'm using Adblock, but I've set this site as an exception, and I can see all the ads. I just can't see the images which are in the articles.

Any ideas?

I am using Chrome 8.0.552.224 (on Win7Pro32) to view the image link that you posted.
The image displays correctly when I open that link.
So, I think there is a problem on your side.

I guess I'll try to figure out something. I'll re-install Chrome, if need be.

Oh, I suppose I should mention that I'm using Chrome 9.0 beta. If I find it bothering me too much, I'll try to go back to the stable release and see if that changes matters. Cheers!

Same here, Chrome 8.0.552.224. I had noticed it some weeks ago as well.

It seems it's adblock for Chrome. Even if you disable it for the website it seems it still hides some elements( Yes, AFAIK this should never happen!), try to disable adblock in

chrome:\\extensions

(you need to disable "Adblock " not the "Browser Button for Adblock")and reload the page. It worked for me.
I'm wondering what other stuff it has been randomly hiding on the sites I visit...

Ah, thanks for bringing it to my notice! What you said worked for me. I can't imagine how much stuff Adblock has been blocking on my computer either...
