On my football manager 23 save i have recently found a bug. As the new season just started, the continue button stopped working. Both pressing it in the top right corner, but also using the spacebar. When clicking using the mouse, the animation of a click happens, everything else also works. Would be nice to get a fix as i can not even play on my save anymore.
UPDATE: Going on holiday and skipping the match on the same day fixes the problem, the button starts working again. Then i reach the next game and same problem happens again.
Having this same issue mate, its really f*cking annoying.
I reloaded a previous save, but at the same excact day in the calendar the game wont let me press "continue" for some odd reason.

I've loaded my second season and found this exact same issue. Continue button stops working whenever there is a game to be played. Tried a few of my saves and it's the same start of 2nd season that it happens. Going on holiday does let pass the game and everything is fine until the next game appears.

I have exactly the same problem. I can't click on continue, but I can go on vacation for 1 day to advance in time.
But a few day later the bug is still here, I can't click on continue button.
I tried to quit the game and return, I tried to change the skin to, no change.
But this is happening only on 1 save. I have another save and it don't happen
