I'm having a problem with Carlo Ancelotti withdrawing players from my Spain squad. He withdrew Bojan from my very first squad and now Pedro Leon from my latest one. I've never ignored player instructions and I'm one of Ancelotti's Favoured Personnel so I can't understand why he's doing it. Does anyone have any ideas? He's not the only manager doing this. I had Torres withdrawn as well but Mick McCarthy's in charge of Liverpool and he has a poor opinion of me so I guess that's why.
Did they ever place for a player to play only 45 minutes? Because if you ignored that then they will widraw the players.
Because he doesn't want his valuable players to be at risk from obtaining an injury
Can managers actually withdraw players irl ? I know Wenger was pissed at van Marwijk for picking van Persie for a friendly in November. It would seem that if he really had the option to withdraw him, he would. However van Marwijk just kept saying that he had every right to pick him..
Managers have the option to do it only for friendly games i do believe, but Wenger wouldn't want to damage his relationship with Van Persie by withdrawing him from the squad . . .

It happened in the very first squad I picked so I'd never even played a game before. Was fine for the second then the third he withdrew players again. The injury thing was what I thought of but since the game doesn't give reasons for withdrawing players I wasn't sure. Maybe that's an idea for 2012.

Only other thing I can think of is maybe the previous computer manager ignored instructions, although I've never known them to do that.

EDIT: It was pretty funny the first time cause the two players that were withdrawn got injured immediately afterwards (literally the next day) so I'd have lost them anyway.

I seen this happen on FM2010, Alex Ferguson kicked off because rooney got played for more than 45 mins
Most managers are kickin off when player who is set to play 45 min and plays more
That's the problem with international squads. They don't take care of the players and they get injured very easily.
