Football manager help

I wanna play this game so so badly. My plan is to buy an x box and buy the latest version. I would rather play last years version or even go back to the 2010s version of the game Iv here’d it’s not much difference. Problem is I don’t think my pc would run say the 2016 version. So guess buying the x box would be cheaper. It’s really frustrating I can’t get any second hand copy to work on my pc Iv here’d these won’t work cos they’ve been activated by steam and can’t get them to work without steam which again is extremely frustrating (I’m not a pc buff )as I think it’s simple game made so complicated to get this and play it like any other old game.
I can’t go on playing football manager 2008.
Will 2023 version go down in price? Shall I wait till Summer to buy it?
I’m not overly keen on the new version I don’t give a shit about the managers new watch. And don’t like the graphics of the manager. Can this be turned off?

Any ideas or thoughts on this? Please help
