Game auto closing/crashing online

Hello all,

I've been trying to play the normal version of FM23 online, with a cousin. But unfortunately the game keeps auto closing/crashing. Sometimes it can take up to a couple of hours and other times just a few minutes.

I get a prompt that the game is closing and asks me if I want to save the game or not. Just like if one would click the quit button. If I save, it immediately closes right after, if I don't, it still auto closes/crashes the game after about a minute.

It's frustrating that I can't seem to find anyone else with this specific issue. And even more frustrating is that the FM console of the game works fine, this issue only happens on the normal version.

I tried with or without mods, with or without modified database. Also tried switching who hosts. It doesn't matter. The FM Console works without an issue, the normal version does not.

Does anyone have the same issue or ideas to what's possibly causing this?

Edit: Forgot to mention that we're playing on Windows via Xbox gamepass

Thanks for the reply. I already opened a ticket and they gave me the same reason, that they are having problems with the Epic servers.
But, unfortunetaly this is something that has been happening for a while. It didn't just start now.
We began playing about almost 2 months. Initially we started on the normal version but with the game closing/crashing several times a day, sometimes even during games.. we decided to stop as it was damn frustrating.

We later tried the console version and realized that that one did not had the issue. With and/or without the same mods and modified database as the normal version.
So, it has to be something related to the normal game. Does the console version not use Epic servers?
