Hello there people! I started playing FM the last year. Having played almost 1.300 hours at FM22, I finally got bored of it. My question is this. Should I buy FM23 now or wait for FM24? Is it worth to upgrade to FM23? What do you think about FM23 generally? Do you like it more than FM22?
I hear that 3D engine is much better at FM23 but I play at 2D, so I don't really care about it. I'd like to hear your thoughts!
In september or october FM23 will probably be given for free on epic or amazon gaming so it makes more sense to wait and play it for free or go straight to FM24 in november.
I'd personally wait for FM24 or at least wait for a flash sale to get FM23 if you're itching to play during a summer holiday.
But let's briefly answer your other questions.
1) To me, every new FM is worth upgrading to, just for the sake of new data alone.
2) I can't say I've logged more hours on FM23 than previous iterations. Several friends of mine haven't touched the game after Xmas, which might be a coincidence... or not.
3) For newcomers, it's possible to like FM23 more than FM22. For veterans like me, let's just say I still think fondly of old versions such as FM12 or FM07.
