hello guys,

didn't find the proper place to post it since there is no an editor forum.
I've been always wanting to know something when i build myself in the editor.
Everytime when I build myself in the editor(the highest level)so the attributes ingame are decresed in 2.
For example:If I put 20 Finishing,20 Dribling,19 Pace,20 Agility,19 Acceleration so ingame all the attributes are decresed to 17-18.

I don't realy know why is it since i put myself on the highest reputation.
Could you give me a hint on how to create myself with the exact attributes i choose on the editor ?

Thanks.
It's impossible for a player to have all attributes at 20, even with 200 CA, so the game decreases your player's abilities. My advice would be to set your CA to 200 and set your player's key attributes to 20 and lower on those that your player doesn't need. This way the most important attributes won't decrease. One thing of note is that players that are able to play two-footed will get a bigger decrease to attributes, since it takes a chunk from the CA.
Meister is right just try lower attributes that you dont need.
Hmm I'm quite sure that a player with 200 CA and PA will be able to have and keep all stats at 20..
No, that's not how it works.
@ Meister - Already did it mate.

I am building myself as a striker and these are the stats i am using(when CA and PA are set to 200)

Dribling - 19
Finishing - 20
Technique - 19
Composure - 20
Concentration - 19
Determination - 20
Decisions - 19
Flair - 20
Work Rate - 19
Off the ball - 20
Pace - 19
Acceleration - 20
Agility - 19
Stamina - 18

There are more attributes like Passing(16),Crossing(15) and those that aren't shown in the game: Consistency(20),Important Matches(20)

In my opinion there are too many skills for a striker and it seems like I need everything.
I took your advice and reduced the Preferred Foot to Right only.

Could you give me an advice for a key attributes for each role ? Those attributes that will make these players the best.(if a striker so he wlll be able to score over 50 goals per season)
Ernest - my advice would be to set all your attributes at 20 and then, once you start your game in FM, use FMRTE to boost all your stats back up to 20.

Presumably you might have various in-game relationships you want to set and further customise your player in the game - FMRTE will let you do just that, as there are plenty of things in the game that you cannot pre-set in the FM Editor.
@ alexjt - Tried that trick as well, but the moment I set the attributes i want via FMRTE,after two weeks ingame all the attributes are decreased even more.

i did something like that ages ago and it just wasn't any fun watching myself be far too good. i always had more fun when it was a bit more realistically set up. set it up like the current set up for the pretend team on here.

15.ONE main position that will be edited with the 20 value
16.2-3 secondary positions that will be edited with the value of 17
17.2-3 positions that you could play that will be edited with maximum 12(NOTE: the values might change after the database will be tested, we don't want players having to many positions)
18 1st tier attributes(5 of them): value of 20
19:2nd tier attributes(5 of them): value 17-19
20.3rd tier attributes(5 of them): value 14-16
21.4th tier attributes(5 of them): value 1-7(you're worst attributes)(NOTE: the attributes that you did not choose will have random values in between 8-13 based on you're position in field)

not sure how you set the random stat allocation in the editor however.

But at least you can keep on editing your stats up again in FMRTE. Realistically, that's going to be your only option if you're adamant you want 20s for every skill in the game.

Not sure what age you've entered, but I know that if you're a young player or an old player, you'll struggle even more to keep the 20 stats.
@godsgifttoearth - I'd prefer to build myself as a top class player rather than some low-end player, but ofcourse i try to make it reasonable and not build the player with 20's in everything.

@alexjt - Keeping to edit the attributes might be nice in the beggining but i don't see myself doing it over and over for the entire my career hehe
And I've built myself in a real age - 22,i think it's a reasonable one.
i think for you to hold 20's for most attributes would be between the ages a "striker peaks in ability between the ages of 27 and 31" or whatever the tip FM gives you on the loading screen.
The attribute system makes it impossible to hold many attributes at 20 without some attributes being very low. You could look at the tactics screen and find a role your player would play, e.g. "Poacher" or "Advanced Forward" and see what the key stats for the role are. Then you could set these stats to 20 and experiment with the other, less important stats and see how high you can go with them.
@Meister That's good idea to do.

I think when I creat myself I never placed more than 3 20's and lots of lower attributes and it always worked fine.
@Meister - That's a good idea mate.I could manage to have 20 Finishing and 20 Dribling and most of my attributes are pretty high so i can say i'm satisfied.
