I am playing my very first season in FM23. My team is Salento (Lecce) in Serie A and I sell my star player to Tottenham for 15M so I have a decent transfer budget, which I am planning to use at the end of the season.
But out of the blue the Director of Football announces that two of the players I currently have on loan are set to sign at the end of the season for 9M. No opportunity to reject the transfers either.
In the staff responsibilities I am in control of finding and signing players for the first team.
Am I missing something or is this just part of the game ?
What can I do to prevent this from happening ? Sacking the director and not hire a new one ?
Also is there a way to cancel the transfers ?
