Does Opposite Instruction Advice is so important?

At some moment, i did what my assistant said about the advice of opposite instruction. Sometimes it works, but often that's messed up my main tactic.

So what do you think guys? Do you always do the advice or not?

I never put or follow OI, because it can be easily destroy the defending part of my tactic.
