Problem with Real Face at your Coach

After the update my real face of my manager was gone, and i couldn't put it again beacuse there is no choice in perfences

SI removed that option in preferences, but I have a workaround.

There is a similar problem with NewGan faces. You need to go into the config file in the Newgan faces folder and find and replace pictures/person/ with picture/person/r-

All the regens have had their ID changed to have "r-" in front of the ID number.

To fix this you can go to the folder that holds your NewGan faces, usually under C:\Users\"Your User Name"\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\graphics

In the NewGan Faces folder there should be a config.xml file. You can make a copy of this file to another location in case something goes wrong. You need to open this file (it should open in Notepad) and then highlight all the records by using Control A. Next use Control H to find and replace. In the Find section type "pictures/person/" without the " and in the replace type "pictures/person/r-" without the ". Click on replace all. This should put "r-" in front of all the IDs which will then attach the picture to the correct record again.

Finally you will then need to go to preferences in the game and reload the skin. This will reload the faces using the correct new IDs.

I hope this works for you. It did for me after a bit of playing to figure out what had happened.

This seems to work, but as soon as I generate players with the NewGen Manager again, it deletes the change from the config again

I apologise. There was a typo in my instructions which I have now fixed. If you have your original config file just follow the instructions again. Otherwise find and replace the following "/picture/" with "/pictures/"

Thats right. You will need to rerun the fix each time you run NewGan Manager until they fix it.
