I've been managing West Ham United for about 6 years in a money ball style on FM23 Db. Over this time i managed to get my balance up to about £350m in profit.
I approached the board and asked them to consider buying the london stadium. They agreed and at the end of the season they purchased the stadium.
My bank balance went to -£1B. No loan to cover the cost they just took it straight out of the bank.
Has anyone else tried anything similar? what were the results. Is this a game bug, surely the club should secure a loan which would then be repayed over x years.
It has certainly added a new level of difficulty to my save as i have had to move on a number of star players in order to claw back some money. Good job i invested heavily in youth.
