Here's the link for the standalone for version b128. Sorry for the delay :)

Mac Standalone Genie Scout b128
GS doesn't work!! Even if I close every X11 activity before, when I launch GS, X11 opens automaticly! I'm still hanging for Loading language data!
Please help me!!
X11 is the framework (essentially a Windows emulator) that allows you to run Genie Scout on the Mac, so it has to open automatically when you launch the file, otherwise you can't run it at all. How long have you waited before closing down the Genie Scout app? Sometimes it might take up to a few minutes before the program opens up, especially if you're on an older system. Have you tried installing it yourself or did you download the standalone program?

If you can't make it work in any way, please post a screenshot of activity monitor at the point where Genie Scout is hanging, with the processes ordered by PID (Process ID), with the highest numbers at the top.
Am i just a moron, or is it extremely hard to actually find the file you need to load?

My problem is, when i press the load file it pops up like it's a Windows computer, so I'm having a hard time finding the saved game file. Any ideas?

Well you should just go to Desktop/ / /Users/YOURNAME/documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2011/games/YOURFILENAME

(I'm not sure why the first one is named 'desktop' and the second one just '/' but that is the way it is called on my computer)
I do agree that it can be a bit tricky to find the right folder ;)

Thanks a bunch! You're the man ;)
I've downloaded this and it's works fine witch is great. But i was wondering can I update the Genie Scout to version 11.3 or the newest version (I dont remember if it is 11.3 :P) - Can I update it with mac to the newest version?

Regards.
I know I'm a little late to this thread. I recently bought a mac so the first thing that I did was install FM and then try to install genie.
I've managed to install it and then open the program but my installed game isn't in the load game screen?
Can somebody help?
Am I just being a total amateur?
Adding a final step that should apply to the 'g' version and how to apply the key.

Go to the app (WineBottler), click on the "search" icone next to the Genie scout file (magnifying glass) to open Genie Scout directory. Then, open the "drive_c", open the "FM Genie Scout 12g" folder and paste the key there.

did this, but didn't work.
Just like with the 11 version, I've downloaded Genie Scout but I can't find my saved game in there.

Does anybody know how I might find it?

I've followed your instructions and found my game, but then, disaster! Genie Scout disappeared and X11 won't open again.

What's going on?!?!?
i've installed gs12 with winebottler.. no problem. when i open the created app it loads just fine (with the "corrupted" message). at the final step, i get a "ole error 80004001" message...
does anyone have any ideas on how to solve it? couldn't find a solution.. or should i just wait for the final version of gs12?

thx

I'm having the same problem.. didn't see this thread but I posted a screen shot of all the error's I'm getting here.
Is there a standalone program for FM2012? I'm having trouble using winebottler because of lack of options in step 4.
Thanks
