Has anyone ever brought him? i just brought him for Birmingham for 650 k and he seems to play better than ben foster and he is 20 years old??

how does he turn out and is it worth keeping him?

Yeah I have, on one of my many Bristol City saves, cost me a million at the start of the game and within 2 years who was my number one stopper, and kept that position for the next 4/5 seasons until he was bought by Manchester United for 8.5m

yeh i have him for forest, cost 800k first season, 3 seasons in he's pretty good, hidden attributes on genie for consistency and important matches are around 17 18 which is handy for keepers.

Anyway, his value is now 1.7m, so I won't be spending on him now, but it's good.

Ive got smithies on my arsenal save. 4 seasons in and he is pretty much englands number 1, and my number 2. A solid keeper, PA about 170ish, Easily the best english prospect (non regen). If you are a top 10 side I would have him at least just to be a reliable no 2 and keep your home-grown players up.

i got him on my southampton team for 575k... saying is that he could be next David Seaman and we all know what that guy did! :D after 3 season i played in premiership and he was one of my best players... saving my ass alot! :D thumb up man... he is must buy!

Well worth the buy if I am honest. In my Huddersfield save I played him from day one until I got a Matic who out played him into the team, he was a unreal keeper and anyone considering buying him just do it. Anything under 7mill is worth it as you can easily get more than this back especially if you get him early on in the game :)

i just have a word to describe Alex Smithies "Incredible". he kicked Tim Krul and Steve Harper out from first team squad, and become BPL best young player of the season
