I'm having the issue that I cannot sign old players to one year deals while their one year deal is still running. Its happening at Madrid with Modric and Kroos, which is a first time.
My question is will you be able to offer a new contract before the half year deadline to ensure them staying, do players actually want to stay after this and if so, would I only get the option with 6 months left.
