Meanwhile, I'm already in my third season in Belgium at the moment I start this topic. I've been hesitant to write this for a while. This has to do with questions like, do I understand the game well? Am I making the right choices? Still, I choose to write this.
Season 1
It all started with the choice of the club. In my case, this choice wasn't very difficult, as I am a fan of the Belgian top club KRC Genk. Perhaps a surprising choice as a Dutchman, but still. I always try to integrate as many youth players as possible into my formation. This season, I'm playing 4-2-3-1. I think it's a pretty "standard" choice for a Football Manager player. I've had a few players for my starting eleven. I brought in Mohamed Hany on a free transfer from AL-Ahly for right-back. Ronnie Edwards from Peterborough as a ball-playing defender, and Kevin Denkey from Cercle Brugge as a substitute striker.
Looking forward to it!
