so after years of mild tinkering i decided to start a big project and add a Shetland league to the game. i've worked through a lot of issues and the database now effectively works. However my regens are broken. When setting this up i essentially rebranded Andorra as Shetland changing absolutely everything as far as even adding pinpoint accurate coordinates for a plethora of shetland towns. However all my regens are generating with spanish/french names and ethnicities, as well as a lot of foreign regens from africa. i have created a new shetland language and replaced the spanish/french/catalan ones andorra has, ive changed the region to uk and ireland and then northern europe to try and fix things and no results. is there something hard coded im missing? ive seen databases of this ilk that have replaced one country with another using the same method and those regens had geographically accurate names. what am i missing?
edit: perhaps should also mention a lot of these regens are generating with spanish/french/portugese second nationality
