Sorry if i shouldnt post here,

Ive done a few decent saves on fm11 but sadly i always get to a point where i feel i cant do much more.

Man utd and cambridge are my top clubs, and done everything i could with them except get cambridge wining in europe.
Recently i even started unemployed went to hereford got them to championship then moved on to coach norwich into the premiership and europe, also had spells as coach of austria then england.

Now i ask can anyone suggest a club to try? maybe in EPL? but a club i can shape and bring in the glory?

I was considering blackpool but figured it would be more annoying than good lol
well i really dont know, make a list of leagues and a few teams from every league, than i always read about clubs that i would manage and than decide which history i like most :)
What I would recommend is to try playing leagues that you didn't play before or try to play a team that you didn't play in this version of FM but you did play in the past.
And I think Bole_ idea is intresting.
Thanks guys, advice noted.

Decided to go a step out the bounders lol.
Created my local club in editor in blue square premier.
With no players and only 5million in bank with only 30k transfer budget

Seems a challenge so all good :)
5 million in the bank is a LOT for BSP :P
You should just give yourself a wage budget of about 6k/w and nothing else ;)
I agree with Zonnegod. 5 million for any team below 2nd league is a lot of money and in some leagues top teams don't have this kinda of money.
heehe i started with Dresden.Third German League

got 0 transfer budget
salary budget 57k
currently salaries 65k

and debt 5.5 m

try something like that, with debt, you will not be given any transfer budget for 2-3 seasons :)
Why not try somewhere different like macdab said, there is always places like teams in south America or the far east if you fancy a challenge. I am thinking of starting a new game in Brazil some time soon when I am finished with my current game :)
if u want some challenge come to portugal :) our 1st league has 3 or 4 teams that struggle for the title, and all the rest is crap, try Olhanense, Portimonense or Leixões! these are clubs who have their best history records in the last 2years, so they have a lousy reputation and very low expectations!
# macdab55 : I agree with Zonnegod. 5 million for any team below 2nd league is a lot of money and in some leagues top teams don't have this kinda of money.

2nd league hahaha that is a premiership transfer fund!!!! Basicly my suggestion is try playing it like you would in if u were a manager in real life e.g. don't reform the entire squad at any point only 4-5 changes, dont use editor half mask the players attributes, thats about it
Thanks for the tips :)

Yeah after posting i realised 5mill is way to much lol so i set it as about 3k weather thats too much or too little i think it will cause a challenge to rake in profit,
i have also set the wage and transfer budget to 0 in first season so all i can do is get free players and rep is lower than those in Blue square north/south.

Not started yet as i kind of got bored of editting lol.

Started as suggested in portugal leagues with Olhanense

Thanks again for all suggestions :) never can stop playing fm even if it does mean i start over n over and flood my HD with saves :)

In that case you should be alert for the youngsters that come from Porto, Benfica or Sporting, has they tend to be star players on the future! you should be able to sign a few of them in a loan contract!

When you sign onto a new club, you are welcomed and given some of the club's background. Is there a way to read this for any club you're interested in, without having to sign up?

------------------------------------------------------

Found the following website:
albionroad.com Info on several soccer club including histories

Initially I didn't want to have had to go to some website, but it gives a description, history, and even a location using Google Maps.
Wish this info like could be incorporated into FM2012, but the time overhead probably makes this too much effort.
use wikipedia :)
# Bole_ : use wikipedia :)
Wikipedia works although you have to search for a list of clubs, which I did find :D
EUFA Clubs
