Are you betting online?

I'm not sure how many of you are engaged to football betting given the fact our audience's age margin varies. The purpose of this thread is to ask whether you are betting online or not, why you do that and if you have certain strategies. For the inexperienced ones, you can bet online anytime you want; all you need is a sportsbook and a credit card or bank account to fund this activity, or a gateway linked to either of that, such as PayPal.

As far as I'm concerned, I used to bet online for fun once a week a certain symbolic amount like 1 GBP. I stopped during the summer after the World Cup came to an end, because I was beginning to engage in bets often and became more of an obsession than a fun activity. I felt like I went over my limits there, which is a good sign to help you bet in a sensible manner. I always had in mind the max amount I would spend on every bet. Another betting strategy may also include avoiding betting all your money in just one game.

Talk about your personal experience with it. It would be interesting to share what kind of matches you go for the most; for example do you prefer betting for Champions League or Europa League ties? Sometimes it adds something to the game if you're watching it on TV. It should be also interesting to discuss whether you like live betting over regular. I wouldn't want to know where you're playing though, as there is a wealth of football betting sites out there, and sometimes it can all get a bit overwhelming of where to turn to. We should leave that to each individual to figure out for himself.

I have just started looking into betting online, i normaly take the trip to the bookies and have a little bet every saturday on the premier league when i say little i mean £2 max each saturday.

Only reason im looking into changing it to online coz i dont have to walk this way, haha (lazy i know).

Still my bets will only be the £2 a week as im not the richest person in the world.

I don't bet on European football, but I've been known to bet on American football every now and then. It definitely adds to the excitement of a game that I might not otherwise watch at all, lol. And I definitely bet online due to the convenience factor.

It may seem a little awkward nowadays but I don't even buy anything online, I just don't feel confident doing it. When I really want something I may ask someone to do that for me. As far as sports betting, I did it once and lost, not much off course. The thing about sports betting is that the guy that establish the odds knows much more about sports statistics than the guy that bets. So what's the point in betting on a, lets say, a Barcelona-Osasuna? Even if you're willing to bet 100€ on a Barcelona win you'll get about a ridiculous 10€ profit, and there is always the chance you may lose those 100€. On the other hand, if you're willing to bet a maximum of 5€ on Osasuna, you may get more than 100€ but, for real, that happens only one in every ten times. Remember, those sites exist because they get profit, which comes from the user, in other words, the odds are always against you.

I did at th age of 17 get someone to put bets on for the world cup, I think it evened out but to be honest, I wen I turn 18 will bet on the championship or league 1 e.t.c as I will make a bet about a team to stay up and follow that team as well as United and Darlo (and leeds to extent). Betting online is easier sure and I might do that in future.

yeah i betting... and losing i managed to won 200E with 5E and i lose it yesterday at milan... damn that Crouch and Lennon... i was playing X ond them

i used to bet a bit before. i had periods i used to just go + +. but then i had 1 bet that i said fuck it i will bet more then lost a chunk. i often bet like 1-3 euros per match. used to take around 10 different matches per weekend. often i used to just go +. but the amount was slow and painful. but at times i had winnings around 30-40 euros i used to take out 20-30 euros keep the rest and keep betting.

overall i did well. but i stopped betting as its not like im gonna bet huge and win huge, i only bet small amounts and it took a few months before i got + in the account.

once though i went into the casino section and bet 1 euro on 33. i won but that was pure luck.
