Error loading shortlist - GS 24g

When I click the button to load the players in my shortlist, all I get is an error saying "No players available for loading. Please make sure you have players in your opened scouting list in-game."

This is despite me having my shortlist open in game and the database loaded on GS 24g.

I have so far tried saving my game and reloading the database on GS, clearing cache in FM, exiting and reloading FM, restarting my PC, and reinstalling GS. None of these have fixed the error.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Been having this issue intermittently for about a year or so, I started a thread but never got an answer.
