My save files got randomly deleted after i tried to start my old story back up, so i have made this one which hopefully should be just as entertaining.

I have started at the bottom rung as Workington, as i am interested in seeing how i do as a relatively weak team and the fact that it's very close to Carlisle :)

Hopefully this one will go longer and better :D

NEW WORKINGTON MANAGER CONFIRMED

Workington have confirmed their new manager to be Craig Lucock, a relative unknown starting his foray into managing. Craig was hired after former manager Darren Edmonson was sacked for lackluster performances in the league.

We spoke to the new man in charge earlier.

Key: J= Journalist, CL = Craig Lucock

J: Are you happy to be the Workington manager? is this your dream job?

CL: No disrespect to Workington but this isn't my dream job, although i am very proud to be the manager of this fine team and hope to lead it to some good accomplishments.

J: Will you be making any major changes to the playing and managing staff here?

CL: The set up here is very good and i doubt i'll be making major changes in the coaching staff, the players are a whole different issue and despite the fact that i do admire a lot of the players here, there may be some changes.

J: Will you be heavily involved in the running of Workington?

CL: As much as time allows me to be involved, i'll be involved.

J: Will you be very hands on with your players?

CL: The players can come to me with any issue they have and i shall manage it to the best of my abilities.

J: What is your tactical approach to the game?

CL: I am an attack minded manager, although i make sure the defense is secure too.

J: During this time when you have signed up as the manager, there has been serious interest in Jonny Wright. Will you be looking to keep hold of him?

CL: Jonnny is a fantastic player for this level and deserves the praise he's getting, i would ideally like to keep him but i will respect his decision if he wishes to move on.

Craig is looking forward to managing the team and will look to stay here for as long as possible.

This is a match that should get manager Craig Lucock adjusted to his players.
Workington 3 - 2 Workington Reserves

A highly entertaining match was played out by Workington and their reserves on Saturday.

23rd min
Greg Mitchell put the reserve side ahead with a great strike from the corner of the box.

25th min
Gari Rowntree then canceled out Mitchell's strike with a goal which was firs intended to be a cross as he played it in but it somehow found its way into the bottom corner.

34th min
Jonny Wright showed the class which has earned him interest from other teams as former Carlisle United player Conor Tinnion crossed the ball in from the left wing and the cross was converted by Wright's head as it flew into the top left corner.

41st min

Goodacre played a beauty of a ball in from the right wing which was flicked on by Main and was slotted into the bottom corner by Stewart Keen

58th min

Phil McLuckie managed to convert the winning goal as a cross from left winger Tinnion met the Workington man's head which flew into the top left corner.

More detailed reports will be put in as more interesting matches are played :) I shall also upload the goals from most games onto youtube.
I'll follow this as much as i can, will you be doing it on a monthly or basis update when the season starts??

Just curious, as im guna try and see how people do the monthly and maybe start my very first story :)
My style is basically to give a match report for every match gone, hopefully this isn't too much.
