GS loads but nothing displays on screen

As menionted in the title, GS24g loads fine but when clicking the icon in the program tray at the bottom of the screen nothing displays on screen. It has been like this for a while so I've used the non-g version and lived with it. But with the recent update the non-g version isn't updated so I dont have access to GS at all despite buying at least two licences.

Anyone got any ideas?
