player mental state

During a game my player motivation often show that some of my players are nerveous.
Is there something I can do about that?

Also you can fine a player if he gets a red card, but is there a possibility to fine him if he averages 1 yellow card every other game??? Don't want to sell him because he's a very good player and a club icon. I know there's a hidden stat called dirtiness which probably is very high with him. Maybe I should set him on hard tackling so he gets a red card and then fine the hell out of him

With nerveous you mean during a match?
Could be that he's a youngster or a new player that still needs to settle?

And it ís difficult to fine a player if he gets a lot yellow cards, i usualy dont mind..
U do get questions in the press conference about players that get a lot of yellow cards, but dunno know that if you react negative the player will pick it up...
But when he does get a red card or a double yellow i do fine him.

or whenever there is an international break arrange freindlies against the easiest teams you can find, this also works in pre season
