Question about qualification into international cups

Is qualification into international cups depend on league reputation?

Can you specify a bit more in detail?

Like if you are playing in Europe with like Moldavian League which has quite low reputation then they would have less teams in Champions League and Europa League than Spanish Leauges or English?

I think it says it somewhere, the top league finishers in countries qualify for certain stages in the cup. There are rules of how many teams of a certain country can qualify, and what stage. For example, there are multiple EPL teams qualified in the UEFA cups, while a lower rep league/country's team has to win the top leauge, then you'll qualify through some stage.

Yeah they do, because the 'smaller' nation sides start in the preliminary rounds where as the bigger nation sides get automatic 'byes' through to the group stages

To view the list:

1. select the world drop down menu
2. select countries (beneath world cup, intercontinantal, ..., your active leagues, etc.
3. there you will find: world, africa, azia, europe, ...
4. select europe (in my case)
5. there you will find 4 posible views including 2 rankings, a coëfficient and the qualification page wich will tell wich league position per competition is placed for each competition.

This is topical because Italy loses it's 4 qualifiers for the Champions League and it drops to 3 for the 2011/12 season (i.e. top 3 teams in 11/12 will qualify for CL in 12/13 season). Germany currently has 3 places and will get Italy's lost 4th qualification spot that season.

Did anyone notice this changing in the game? I haven't been paying too much attention to the coefficients for each country I must admit.

Once in my Nieciecza save when I won CL in 2018/2019 season there were 2 teams qualifing to the CL (one for group stage and one 2nd qualification round)when till that point there was only 1 team but I didn't pay atantion to other leagues.
