After starting a game in Germany for the first time with Dynamo Dresden the German leagues have become my new favourite. Just want to let people know about the benefits of playing in the German leagues.

  • High reputation means no problem in attracting quality players
  • Plenty of European qualification spots available
  • Very generous prize money for league finishes. £22M+ for 1st place and almost 10M for last, probably the highest prize money in Europe
  • Highest average attendances in the world
  • All European nations are treated as EU and in the top two divisions there no restrictions at all on buying or playing non EU players, so buy as many players as you want with no worries about work permits! The German Cup only allows 3 Non-Eu players in the first 11 though.

  • So try a game in Germany if you haven't already!
Also to get the German national team back you need to delete the file that disables it before you start a new game, each patch renews this file so you need to delete the file for the current patch your using. For patch 11.3 go to footballmanager2011>data>updates>update-1130>db>1130>lnc>all and delete the fake.lnc file
I know when I played with Koblenz and get promoted into First Division I got lot of money and I think there are quite a few teams who are batling for top spot in First DIvision.
Yeah I have found the German leagues to be really good leagues to try and develop a team from nothing to a CL challenging team over a few seasons. Think I might start a new game in the German leagues now as I am currently looking for a new challenge
I totally agree with you; when I start a new game it's usually a German club I choose to manage. I love Bayern, and Bayern is very interesting to manage, but clubs like Hertha BSC, Leverkusen, or Köln are also interesiting to manage!

there's one thing some people think is great and other think it's bad in Germany:

smaller clubs have amazing financial benefits, especially when they get promoted into the 1st Bundesliga, but bigger clubs don't get as much money as their international similar-reputated rivals.... noumsayin!? when you win the scudetto, or la liga, premiership, you get like €50mil+, but when Bayern, BvB, Werder or L'kusen win the BL, they get only 20+something million €.... this is good for the stability of the Bundesliga, cuz there won't be such great differences (in quality) between the biggest clubs and the other ones like in Spain (barca, real) or England (manU, CFC, assanal), noumean!?

In my opinion this is a good characteristic! because of this the BL is a very interesting league to play in!
hey, thanks for telling me how to get the german nationalteam back evo ! I've allways been pissed about it not working the right way when i coach nationalteams and play germany in whatever cup and don't get to play the real players... why is this anyway?
Im not sure why but I think it is somthing about licens for German National team and I think the same(or similar) goes for Japanese league.
