9-1 formation

So what do you think of this 9 - 1 formation? any ideas on what the hell it means and does?

How would that even look/work? 4 sweepers 5 defenders? or 5 defenders 2 defensive mids 2 wing backs? How??

It's a 4-3-3 formation

flat back 4

3 players across the middle that can be as wide or as narrow as desired

3 'forwards' which is basically 1 stiker who will permanently stay up tops with the idea of using 'inverted wingers' (right footer on the left, left footer on the right) who will cut inside and play that way.

The idea of the 9-1 is like the style of Barcelona, they must win the ball back within 7 seconds of losing it! So once the ball has been lost it is everybodies duty - bar the strikers - to win the ball back. So in essence its 4-3-3 when attacking and 9-1 when defending
