Does having old and young players in your squad benefit your team in genral
not really. thing with experienced players is that they simpley are more experienced, with better mental attributes helps the team with their morale etc abit.

u can have a squad of 23 players and all the players aged 25 or less. or you could keep it real by having a balanced team with a few experienced players, some in their prime years, and some young talents.

its upto you as a manager to be honest.
i like young team average squad age is around 24,25....

once i played with ajax and squad age was 21... and i won uefa cup...
yea but i prefer old players e.g Nedved (37) who is brilliant and knows how to play the ball he connects well with the youngsters

I think the average of my squad is 23/24 nearly all the time. My oldest play is 27 I think.
Thats low! get some experienced old players from the league higher placed than yours (could be overseas)

I finished 5th in the Premiership last season.

My boys are doing well... I think next season, my team will win it, they maturing very nicely. I spent fu*k all on putting this team together too...

I am Preston and in the year 2018. I took over whilst Preston where in League One (in 2014). Took them to Premiership in two years, two years later they are now in Europe!!

Most of my players are regen so hence the young age average the only players I could find that could possible be in the game at the start are Raffaele Chiarelli &
Lauri Dalla Valle. Raffaele is my oldest player at 28 and I don’t think he will be there next year as I have youngster who is probably better than him.

I don't actually need experience players. 85% of my squad I bought whilst in League One and added here and there, so they basically grew up together. I have a shed load of money in the bank but I don’t have the desire to spend 3 million on a decent experience player because I know this squad will awesome next season.

I turned United down at the beginning on the season because I knew I would win the title with little effort. Doing it the way I am doing it at the moment would actually feel like an achievement.
i feel the captain and vice captain need to be old with experience but most of the rest fairly young

I couldn't care if my captain was 33 or 23 as long as he can be a leader on the pitch that's all that matters.

Rafael van der Vaart was appotined Ajax captain at 21/22, granted he was unsuccessful and then stripped of it but he was appoint Hamburger SV captain 24 and lead them to a very successful season in the league and in Europe.
yea but not very many young players are good leaders

Cesc Fàbregas is an amazing leader and is only 20! Yea he isn't Arsenal captain or vice-captain but he could easily be. Kolo Touré is vice captain and he is only 26.

Wayne Rooney has captained United already and he is 22.

So I don't support your arguement tbh.
