i got FM07, but i only recently got 08, i'm trying to install the Steklo skin, but i can't seem to place it anywhere, as there isn't a place to put it.

could anybody please help

Hi! You have to put in it " C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR NAME\Docuements\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\skins" If the folder "skins" isnt there, just create it.

cheers mate. i've just tried it and it doesn't seem to work. do i have to put it in the same filespace as the fm application?

There are eight folders right? All eight folder have to be placed in the directory, just like this; http://img80.imageshack.us/my.php?image=testyq9.gif

i have a problem with the skin i have downloaded
when i try to extract the zip file somewhere around 80% of file extraction a error reading file appears
i have tried to download it again but its still the same
help, please

I know about this problem. it's a crc check problem, don't worry about it.
the extraction should complete normally.

the file is given by the creator as is, so there isn't another version, where this does not happen.

but like I said, despite the 'error' message, the files get extracted and you have everything you need to install the skin.
