Loans & home grown status

managing a Premiership club and I have acquired a lot of awesome young talent from non-eu countries. They are 18 so in 3 years they will qualify for home grown club status. my question is this: if i send them to an affilate club in another eu country will that count against their home grown club status?

I it will because they would play in another nation but you could try to loan them in to some lower English teams.
